The Story Behind Always Moving San Diego

I’m Sean Delaney. I grew up a block off the Ocean Beach pier, surfing Sunset Cliffs before school and helping neighbors haul couches up and down Point Loma. Moving was in my blood long before it was my business.

For years I ran crews all over the county — Gaslamp high-rises, La Jolla estates, Pacific Beach walk-ups — until I painted my own name on a truck in 2012. When the schedule’s slammed, you’ll still find me on the tough Downtown tower and Sunset Cliffs stair jobs.

A Real Company, Not a Middleman

We are a licensed moving company, not a broker or lead service. Your quote, your crew, and your truck are all ours.

  • Our own trucks and W-2, uniformed, background-checked movers
  • California CPUC permit plus US DOT & MC authority
  • Licensed, bonded & insured — COIs on request
  • Flat quotes or honest hourly, either way no hidden fees

The People You’ll Meet

Marisol runs the office and your paperwork in English or Spanish. Devin builds the daily truck board. Crew chiefs Rigo, Kai, and Terrell lead 16 movers who treat your home like their own.

Call (888) 278-9005 and talk to a San Diego neighbor, not a call center.

Meet the owner

Sean Delaney — 14 years moving San Diego households

These days Sean still walks every commercial estimate himself — research-park offices, arsenal contractors, medical suites — and stands behind each quote personally: the number he signs is the number you pay.

02 Why us

One company behind the truck, the contract, and the crew

Book us and the truck in your driveway, the movers carrying your sofa, and the name on your paperwork all belong to the same outfit — and packing, storage, even the boxes come from that same shop on one written quote. A broker sells your move to the lowest bidder and vanishes once you sign.

Always Moving San Diego
  • 6 of our own trucks and a dozen uniformed movers on W-2 payroll, hired and trained right here
  • Packing, the move, storage-in-transit, and the boxes — bundled on one written quote
  • The crew that loads your home is the crew that unloads it, even into our storage
  • California PSC household-goods registration plus US DOT and MC authority on file
  • One San Diego office and one point of contact from the first call to the final walkthrough
A typical broker
  • Sells your move to the cheapest bidder and keeps the difference
  • An estimate that somehow grows between booking day and moving day
  • Subcontracted strangers you never met handling everything you own
  • No straight answer on who pays when something arrives broken
  • A faraway call center standing in for a local moving crew

See why San Diego households keep coming back.

Walk the job together at no charge, meet the crew before move day, and get the owner’s name on the number.
